Treatment Risks

Before treatment all patients will have a consultation to discuss suitability, medical history, expected outcomes, possible risks and aftercare.

  • Common side effects may include temporary redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness or mild discomfort at the injection site.

  • Less common risks will be discussed during your consultation. 

Aftercare

Aftercare advice is always explained during consultation and also provided in writing. 

  • Follow the aftercare instructions provided, 

  • Avoid touching or applying pressure to the treated area

  • Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol and excessive heat for the first 24 hours

  • Contact us if you experience anything unusual or concerning.

We may collect details like your name, contact information, date of birth, and any relevant medical history so we can provide safe, appropriate treatments.  We may also collect appointment and treatment records, payment information where required to process transactions, and any correspondence with you. 

That information is stored securely using password-protected electronic systems and practice management software.  

We do not sell or disclose your information unless it is required for your care, required by law or you’ve given consent.

We take all reasonable steps, including access controls and device security measures, to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.  You can request access to or correction of your information at any time by contacting us. 

Terms & Conditions

Appointments & Bookings

All consultations and treatments at Fleurieu Aesthetics are by appointment only.

To ensure safe, appropriate care, patients complete a medical history and consent forms during their consultation.

Please let us know before each appointment if there is any changes to your health, medication, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, or other relevant information, as this may affect treatment suitability.

Consultation fee

A $50 consultation fee is required to secure your appointment.  This fee is credited towards your treatment on the day.  If no treatment goes ahead, the fee covers the consultation time. 

Cancellation and no show policy

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.  If less than 24 hours notice is given or you do not attend for your appointment, the $50 consultation fee will be forfeited.

If you provide 24 hours notice, your consultation fee can be transferred to a new appointment.

We understand that unexpected circumstances arise and will consider exceptional situations at our discretion. 

Late arrivals

If you arrive late, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled to ensure we maintain safety and respect other people’s appointments.  

If we need to reschedule due to lateness, the cancellation policy may apply. 

Refunds

Due to the nature of cosmetic treatments, we do not offer refunds for change of mind, or dissatisfaction where the treatment has been provided. 

If you have any concerns about your results please contact us.  A routine two-week review appointment is included to asses your results. If you have any concerns before your review please contact us. 

Pricing

Treatment fees will be discussed during your consultation after a clinical assessment.

The cost of treatment depends on your individual treatment plan. 

Right to decline or reschedule 

Fleurieu Aesthetics reserves the right to decline, delay or reschedule treatments where it is not clinically appropriate or safe. 

A decision may be based on, but not limited to, medical history, medications, skin conditions, recent procedures, pregnancy or breastfeeding, or any other factor that affects suitability.

Treatment recommendations are always made in the patient’s- best interest. 

Treatment results & consent

While we aim for high standards and natural-looking results, individual responses cannot be guaranteed.

Before any treatment, patients will have a consultation to discuss suitability, risks, benefits, alternatives and aftercare. 

Treatment will only proceed once informed consent has been obtained.
